The Schochenspitze is a 2,069 meter high mountain of the Vilsalpseegruppe in the Allgäu Alps. The summit can be easily reached on the normal route and accordingly receives frequent visitors.

From the Schochenspitze there is a fantastically beautiful 2-lake view of the Traualpsee and the Lache with the Landsberger Hütte above. A head for heights is a must here, because on the side to the Traualpsee the mountain falls vertically down

One of the most beautiful panoramic views I know. It's definitely worth it and the path from the pass is short and easy to reach in simple switchbacks. So don't miss this summit.
You shouldn't ignore the Schochenspitze to the right or left. The view up there is magnificent. The short stretch up and down is definitely worth it.

We stood wonderfully in the clouds, so the view was somewhat limited that day. Nevertheless, it was great to have arrived at the top, the summit book unfortunately fell apart, so we did without an entry and prefer to take pictures. But this is really just a tiny defect.

The view is definitely worth it.
On this summit you should have a head for heights. It goes down very steeply and the short path there is narrow.

Unfortunately, high tourist frequency is also to be expected here in the summer months, as it is still part of the catchment area of the Neunerköpfle Railway.

You can actually see 3 lakes from the Schochenspitze. Vilsalpsee, Traualpsee and something covered but visible Lache at the Landsberger Hut below the Lachenspitze.
