What a fantastic rest stop, with a magnificent view of the Alps to the south and the Black Forest with a view of the Feldberg to the north. Plus, a bench and a lounger.

Thanks to the "Geniesserpfad Turmsteige" hike, I finally managed to get to Hochkopf, and here a beautiful tower from ancient times awaited me with a fantastic panoramic view over the Black Forest to the Swiss Alps. Below the tower there is a large picnic area for hikers and bikers.

Very wonderful mountain peak on the Blößling. Fantastic views and very beautiful vegetation.

This summit cross is at an altitude of 1100m. You have a great view in all directions. In the north you can see Herzogenhorn, Feldberg and Seebuck, among others. In the south the Swiss Alps🇨🇭. There is an orientation board in both directions. There are several benches and a wellness lounger available for your enjoyment. If you walk along the “Ilbacher Panoramaweg” you are at its highest point.

The Hochkopfturm is at a height of 1267 m. The tower can also be climbed. From the top you have a great 360° view. The Swiss Alps are particularly impressive! There is also a large rest area here with lots of benches and tables.

The Lehenkopf, which is 1,039 meters above sea level, is complemented by the 18-meter-high tower, which offers a reasonable view of the southern Black Forest landscape. It is a good stopover on the Schluchtensteig long-distance hiking trail or for tours between St. Blasien and the viewpoints over Urberg or on the Bildsteinfelsen or to the monastery pond near Horbach etc.

Architecturally, too, a very exciting tower. Great view and spacious rest area.

The view is great, even if this is not the Ihberger Kreuz, but the Lampenschweine summit cross. But it's also worth it more than the Ihberger Kreuz.
