A must for all nature enthusiasts. Regardless of the weather, there are always beautiful photo opportunities. Ideally come in the morning or evening.

The hut is conveniently located if you don't want to go up to the summit of the Zugspitze in one day.

Also very nice in winter. The path is prepared for a winter hike and is very easy to walk. There is plenty of seating along the lake with great views and lots of rubbish bins.
