The Hörndl is such a beautiful area for hikers, skiers, tourers... whose reputation should not be damaged. Therefore the tip: The parking lot at the railway is managed by “Park Depot GmbH”. This company charges €47 for typographical errors on the license plate, which must be provided when paying. If you exceed your parking time by 1 minute, ... or drive in and immediately drive out again, the same thing happens. The joy of a beautiful Hörnle day can be severely affected!

Beautiful mountain hut directly above the train with delicious food 🤩 Here you can enjoy the sun

Beautiful hut with brand new sanitary facilities and even warm water, which only ran in a thin trickle (indication of scarce drinking water) No shower. Everything was very clean (there was a school class with us and the toilet was always cleaned up during this time. The food was cheap but also disappointing. I would have preferred to have paid more for more tasty and filling food. Breakfast 2 small slices of bread with jam 5 €, 4 slices of sausage and cheese €7 plus a cup of coffee/tea

A really nice mountain hut with delicious food and lots of space on the sunny terrace 👍, it's bearable there!!!

For me worthwhile in winter via the winter trail. The hut itself is not really comfortable because it is often very busy. Toboggan run down north side. I prefer the ascent from Kappel or, as I said, the winter trail.
