The Hörndl is such a beautiful area for hikers, skiers, tourers... whose reputation should not be damaged. Therefore the tip: The parking lot at the railway is managed by “Park Depot GmbH”. This company charges €47 for typographical errors on the license plate, which must be provided when paying. If you exceed your parking time by 1 minute, ... or drive in and immediately drive out again, the same thing happens. The joy of a beautiful Hörnle day can be severely affected!

For me worthwhile in winter via the winter trail. The hut itself is not really comfortable because it is often very busy. Toboggan run down north side. I prefer the ascent from Kappel or, as I said, the winter trail.

The Tannenhütte is located above Garmisch Partenkirchen at an altitude of 934 meters. It is surrounded by the wild and romantic mountain world of the Wanks. You have a wonderful view of the Wetterstein massif with the Zugspitze and over the city of Garmisch Partenkirchen. Just a pleasure 🤩👍
