Hello everyone, we walked from the Rableid Alm to the Stettiner Hütte on July 12th, 2024 in pouring rain and thunderstorms. After we arrived at the first plateau, we walked the rest of the way up over snow fields without knowing where we were going - about 5 degrees outside temperature - Nevertheless, we arrived safely at the Stettiner Hütte. We spent the night there and were very sad about what was on offer up there... 50 cents for a 30-second shower is a disgrace. The shared rooms are like chickens on a perch... 1 shower and 1 toilet for the whole floor... and the breakfast the next morning... incredibly little and one-sided... Conclusion: never again...tourist rip-off

The Hochganghaus was rebuilt in 2010. It is located on the Merano High Trail and is a great place to stop for a delicious meal. Definitely recommended.

A great hut with good food. We were here for the sheep drive in September. Around 1300 🐑 🐏 returned.

Very nice inn with first-class food. The whole yard is designed with great attention to detail and especially the wooden figures throughout the yard are great.

A stop there is always worthwhile. From here you can either continue to climb in the direction of the Lodnerhütte, follow the Meraner Höhenweg either in the direction of Gigglberg or Hohe Wiege, or descend to the Partschins waterfall.

Absolutely hospitable, with delicious food and good accommodation!
