Good DAV hut on the E5... However, due to a lack of staff, you can only go to your room at around 5 p.m. Beautiful terrace with a view towards Meran. Quiet in the hut at 10 o'clock in the evening. Breakfast is from 7:30 a.m.

The Wurzer Alm is in a very nice location. The food is good and the staff is very friendly.

A cozy hut, beautifully nestled at the foot of the Ifinger summit, which offers great food. The very friendly landlord will be happy to provide information about the nearby hiking destinations for which the Ifingerhütte is the ideal starting point, such as to the Künig and the Lawand summit. The easiest way to reach the Ifingerhütte is via hiking trail 18A, which starts at the Taser Alm (1450 metres). This, in turn, can be easily reached by cable car from Schenna. Immediately after the Taser Alm, the path leads through dense coniferous forest, through which it meanders leisurely up the Schennaberg without any major climbs. After about 2.5 km and 370 meters you will reach the Ifingerhütte. (Excerpt Visit Merano)
