    The hut has now been reopened after the avalanche accident. You sleep in small wooden huts that are slightly lower than the original hut. It's amazing what has already been rebuilt here.       Hut on the way between the ice farm and Pfelders. Since the old hut was destroyed in 2014, there is currently a provisional where simple but delicious food is offered. The new hut is currently under construction - impressive to watch the workers at this height.

            Hello everyone, we walked from the Rableid Alm to the Stettiner Hütte on July 12th, 2024 in pouring rain and thunderstorms.
            After we arrived at the first plateau, we walked the rest of the way up over snow fields without knowing where we were going - about 5 degrees outside temperature -

            Nevertheless, we arrived safely at the Stettiner Hütte.
            We spent the night there and were very sad about what was on offer up there...
            50 cents for a 30-second shower is a disgrace.
            The shared rooms are like chickens on a perch...
            1 shower and 1 toilet for the whole floor...
            and the breakfast the next morning... incredibly little and one-sided...
            Conclusion: never again...tourist rip-off

                The view is great, a visit is definitely worth it. The soups (goulash and noodle soup) we found pretty poor, really very watered down. For dinner we will choose another stop on the way next time.

                  During my hike in 2012 I was able to experience the hut differently than after the destruction in 2014. A very good memory with good food and a beautiful view of the valley. Highly recommended as part of the Meraner Höhenweg.

                              Great hut, now has many nice 6-bed rooms in the new building, even showers for coins and a drying room. Since it is well insulated, you don't freeze :))
                              There are nice collections of games and everything is very comfortable. The food is just as great.

                                We slept here on our tour of the Merano High Trail. The Stettiner Hut is new and modern. The shared room had a lot of space for a hut. For a small fee, there was even a shower with warm water up there. The service and the food were really good and completely sufficient. All in all, we were very satisfied for a hut at about 2800m above sea level.
