The Zwölferkogel is one of the most striking peaks in the Glemm Valley, rising 1,984 meters above the popular resort of Hinterglemm. From its summit, visitors can enjoy impressive panoramic views stretching from the Kitzbühel Alps to the Hohe Tauern. Thanks to the cable car, panoramic trail, and well-marked hiking trails, the Zwölferkogel is a versatile destination with magnificent views, ideal for both leisurely excursions and strenuous tours.

The Frühmesser is located in the Kitzbühel Alps on the border with Salzburg. Beautiful and long climb from the Stieralm in the Unterer Grund to the Westeracheralm and into the Geigenscharte. Very scenic ridge hike over the Grasleitenkopf towards the south to the summit. Great views, especially towards the Großvenediger with its wide glacier areas. The summit is also very popular to visit from the lift area of Neukirchen am Großvenediger.

The ski tour to the Dürrnbachhorn is planned and signposted by the DAV as a sustainable tour. There is a map with the ascent routes and descent options at the bottom of the parking lot for tourers. The day ticket for parking costs 5,-. Please make sure to avoid the forests along the summit slope on your tour. The game and grouse rest here. The view from the summit is beautiful and extends from Chiemgau over the Berchtesgaden Alps to the Wilder Kaiser and, when the weather is good, the Hohe Tauern.

A beautiful viewpoint peak, the highest in the Chiemgau Alps, and can be reached with relatively little elevation gain thanks to the high hiking car park. A good start for ski tourers and snowshoe hikers.
