Fantastic panoramic view, to the south the Niedere Tauern, to the south-west the Hohe Tauern with their boldly shaped peaks such as the Ankogel, Sonnblick, Großglockner and Venice. To the west, the Hochkönig, Hagen and Tennengebirge tower skyward, and to the north-west is the Bischofsmütze with the Gosaukamm. In the north, however, the Torstein rises with incredible force. Its south walls are tangibly close in their frighteningly sudden descent. TIP: Write in the summit book on the summit cross!
