Nice peak of the mountain, nice places to sit, but it can be a bit chilly.

The Wildkogel Arena Neukirchen and Bramberg is located in the Salzburg region between the Kitzbühel Alps and the Hohe Tauern National Park.

The Frühmesser is located in the Kitzbühel Alps on the border with Salzburg. Beautiful and long climb from the Stieralm in the Unterer Grund to the Westeracheralm and into the Geigenscharte. Very scenic ridge hike over the Grasleitenkopf towards the south to the summit. Great views, especially towards the Großvenediger with its wide glacier areas. The summit is also very popular to visit from the lift area of Neukirchen am Großvenediger.

At the summit you have an impressive panoramic view, especially of the Hohe Tauern. A summit book and a stamp office are available. Anyone who wants to tackle this tour must be sure-footed, experienced in mountaineering and have a head for heights.

The short panoramic tour over the Wildkogel is given as 2 hours. After leaving the summit, the path initially runs along the mountain ridge. Sure-footedness is no longer required from the forest road, but the path back to the mountain station of the Smaragd or Wildkogelbahn is a little longer.

The cable car takes you comfortably and safely to the Wildkogel at a lofty 2,100 m above sea level. Surrounded by the gently rolling grassy mountains of the Kitzbühel Alps, you can enjoy wonderful views of the impressive mountains of the Hohe Tauern National Park with Salzburg's highest mountain, the Großvenediger (3657 m).
