The Brandeckkopf is located on the western edge of the Black Forest and is 685.8 m above sea level. NHN[1] the highest mountain in Offenburg. It is located in the district of Zell-Weierbach. On its summit is the 23 m[2] high Brandeck Tower, built in 1895 from stamped concrete, a lookout tower. The mountain is located in the middle of the 1897 hectare Brandeck nature reserve. The Devil's Pulpit doesn't offer any special views, but the path along the rock formation is spectacular.

Observation tower at 870 m altitude. Approximately 104 steps lead up a spiral stone staircase. From up there you have a fantastic 360° all-round view.

With good visibility you can see almost the entire Black Forest - from the Badnerhöhe in the north to the Blauen in the south, with Kandel, Feldberg and Belchen in between.

The steps along the trail can be slippery when it rains. Sure-footedness is necessary in some places. It goes uphill over adventurous paths and stairs to the Teufelskanzel, a large rock formation on the way.

The Teufelskanzel with its fascinating rock formations is an adventure in itself. The path leads up over moss-covered stone steps and wooden steps to the red sandstone formation. The steps along the trail can be slippery when it rains. Sure-footedness is necessary in some places.
