The Brandeckkopf is located on the western edge of the Black Forest and is 685.8 m above sea level. NHN[1] the highest mountain in Offenburg. It is located in the district of Zell-Weierbach. On its summit is the 23 m[2] high Brandeck Tower, built in 1895 from stamped concrete, a lookout tower. The mountain is located in the middle of the 1897 hectare Brandeck nature reserve. With good visibility you can see almost the entire Black Forest - from the Badnerhöhe in the north to the Blauen in the south, with Kandel, Feldberg and Belchen in between.

Additional vertical meters that are not worth it. Nothing worth seeing apart from a sign.

Curious and painstakingly climbed the mountain, only to see nothing. But the beautiful trail made up for it.

I think I'm standing in the forest 😉... there isn't much of a view on the mountain that takes you from Ortenberg to Ohlsbach and into the Ohlsbachtal (but nice paths!)
