The 90 steps up are worthwhile, because a majestic view awaits, high above the trees. To Oberkirch, Achern, Renchtal and Offenburg.
Even the Strasbourg cathedral has come into view.

During the ascent you have a great view through the railings and can admire the vineyards and landscape. The tower is 18m high to the platform. At the top you can see as far as the Vosges and see the Strasbourg Cathedral. Have lots of fun with it

The view should be terrific (depending on the weather), with my fear of heights I unfortunately only got 1/4 of the way up the open spiral staircase.
(The ascent is better at Buchkopffturm and Moosturm, I was already up there.)

Climbing the tower is definitely worth it. You will be rewarded with a great view of the Rhine plain and, if visibility is good, as far as the Vosges.
