The memorial stone below the observation tower commemorates the first men's choir of the Grand Duchy of Mecklenburg-Strelitz, "Arion" (Arion = mythical singer of antiquity), founded in 1829. The choir often met on the small platform at the edge of Behmshöhe for singing events and folk festivals. On the occasion of the choir's 100th anniversary, this boulder from the Fünfeichen field was ceremoniously erected here. The inscription reads: Arion 1829 - 1929 Free in song, always German and faithful. November 29, 1929

You can also park here for free and start a bike tour around the lake from here.

Chimborazo, with its 55 m height and the entry in the summit register, is a highlight of the hike along Lake Tollense. Unique in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.

There is not much left to see of the dragon tree.

Beautiful view over Lake Tollense. Next to the balcony, there's a covered table and bench combination.

A quaint bridge over a small stream. Unfortunately, it has seen better days.

A lovely little hotel right on the lake. The price is right, and the rooms are really nice. We'd happily stay again.
