The “Fat Pine” is about 150 years old. Take a little time to admire this mighty witness to history.

The path here leads along impressive alders, willows and maple trees. Fallen giants or trees that have grown into unusual shapes are impressive testaments to the endless cycle of life and transience. Sometimes you are treated to beautiful views of the Ellbogensee and sometimes you immerse yourself in the shady sections of the floodplain forest.

The nest can be seen clearly from a distance, but binoculars are very helpful.

Located right next to the campsite and settlement, you can certainly do a lot for your body here.

In Priepert you will find a covered rest area with a drinks machine. This way you can take a short break and refill your drinks supply. A map of the surrounding area is also available.

Here in Prieperter's "Park Rehwinkel" you will find some benches under shady linden and oak trees that are over a hundred years old.

Delicious fish sandwiches straight from the fisherman and a fantastic beer garden!
