At the village of Terheijden, the Mark makes a sharp turn to the west. Here, the connection with the Markkanaal and the boathouse of the Breda Rowing Club is located. At Standdaarbuiten, the Mark changes into the Dintel, after which the river water flows into the Western Scheldt via the Volkerak, the Rhine-Scheldt Canal and the Bath Spuikanaal. Tributaries of the Mark include the Kleine Mark, the Hollandsche Loop, the Merkske, the Chaamse Beek, the Galderse Beek, Heerlese Loop, the Kerzelse Beek, the Leijloop, the Molenleij and the Strijbeekse Beek. From this cycle path you have a beautiful view of the Vierde Bergboezem. The overflow area of the Mark that is used when there is high water in the river. The meadows are often partially submerged in winter, which attracts many water birds. In the summer there are often cows in the meadow.
