Wamberg is a hamlet and estate with castle near Berlicum in the municipality of Sint-Michielsgestel, in the Dutch province of North Brabant, located on the border with 's-Hertogenbosch. It is located on the Hasseltse Dijk along the road from Berlicum to Rosmalen, between the Grote Wetering and the Wambergse Beek. People talk about De Wamberg, instead of Wamberg. The area was mined in the second half of the 14th century. The Wambergse Hoeve (also called Grote Wamberg) is the oldest farm and dates from the 14th century. On the east side of the site is a beautifully preserved playhouse called 'Eikenlust'. This building used to be called Nieuwe Wamberg and already appears in writings from 1370. In the 16th century, a mansion was built on De Wamberg. Traces of this can still be found in the current castle. A carriage and hunting lodge was built against the farm around 1550.
