This magnificent cathedral took over 300 years to build. It boasts an impressive 115 meters in length and a 73-meter-high tower. Its exterior is remarkably ornately decorated.

What are the Maaspaardjes? The Maaspaardjes are ceramic artworks/sculptures, located in the Maaspoort neighborhood in 's-Hertogenbosch. They were designed by artist Albert Kramer in 2008. What makes them special is that they were created in collaboration with local residents, and especially with the neighborhood's children. The term "Maaspaardje" is, in a sense, a fantasy: it's a cross between a hippopotamus and a seahorse—a playful design. A total of eleven Maaspaardjes have been installed in the art and play area in Maaspoort.

De Lachende Vis is located on the dike of the Maas River in the old picturesque village of Oud Empel, municipality of 's-Hertogenbosch. Café De Lachende Vis has traditionally been the favorite café of the “Oud Empel residents”. Which are still coming to this day. The first permit dates from 1901 and still hangs in the café today.
