The village of Mizoen, located in the Isère department of France (Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region), is a typical mountain settlement at the entrance to the Écrins National Park, near Le Bourg-d'Oisans. Its history is deeply linked to mountain agriculture, livestock farming, and, more recently, tourism development thanks to its proximity to the renowned Les Deux Alpes ski resort, offering a peaceful and panoramic setting overlooking Lake Chambon.

A wonderful welcome at the Refuge des Clos, a short stop with an omelet and croque-monsieur. Excellent, I recommend it.

하이킹하는 사람들이 약간 있지만 수영하기 좋은 멋진 산악 호수입니다. 발을 담그기 전에 용기, 좋은 신발, 그리고 한 시간 정도의 힘든 행군을 준비하세요.

This little "secret garden", as the managers of the refuge describe it, is located above Lake Chambon, in the Écrins. The refuge has a capacity of 19 places, divided into two dormitories and has dry toilets outside. You can also enjoy a catering service all day long. I heard that it was sometimes dried up but for my part in July 2024 it was still sublime (Cf the photo that I added). However, it would be a shame to stop there and not go up to the black lake and the lérié lake which add a bit of walking but which offer a sublime view of part of the massif and the meije

Nestled in the heart of the Vénéon Valley, Lauvitel is the largest lake in the Ecrins National Park. The panorama of the high mountain cirque is breathtaking.
