The Marais Pond, a former gravel pit, is now a large carp pond with numerous benches around the lake for recreation. The pond contains a herd of approximately 300 carp, weighing up to 16 kg. The lake contains mirror carp, koi carp, common carp, and small sturgeon.

The lake is picturesquely located on the outskirts of town. Behind the lake there is a small forest with a beautiful stream. The tranquility of these places seems unreal, as they are immediately surrounded by a campsite and the town.

Near the village of Roybon there is a series of landscaped ponds where it is possible to fish all year round.

The Romanesque church of Saint-Pierre-de-Marnans, in Marnans, dates from the 12th century and is a major building of Romanesque art in Dauphiné. It is listed as a Historic Monument and every year hosts artists during the “Lesétés de Marnans” festival.

Built by a silk industrialist from Lyon in the second half of the 19th century, the Saint-Siméon-de-Bressieux factory has two parts linked together by a glass roof. Adjoining the factory, a large adobe building housed workers who, coming from very far away, stayed on site during the week.
