The memorial stone below the observation tower commemorates the first men's choir of the Grand Duchy of Mecklenburg-Strelitz, "Arion" (Arion = mythical singer of antiquity), founded in 1829. The choir often met on the small platform at the edge of Behmshöhe for singing events and folk festivals. On the occasion of the choir's 100th anniversary, this boulder from the Fünfeichen field was ceremoniously erected here. The inscription reads: Arion 1829 - 1929 Free in song, always German and faithful. November 29, 1929

Well laid out, but I didn't take a closer look because the grass was much too high. It seemed a bit unkempt.

Actually, it was very nicely designed and informative. Unfortunately, the grass was so high that you couldn't see all the stones.
