A small wine-growing village. Unfortunately, the Moselle Cycle Path doesn't run all the way through the village. But it's definitely worth a visit. The Moselle Hiking Trail runs through the village.

The Bridge Gate of Traben-Trarbach on the Moselle River is the town's landmark and stands on the southern bank of the Moselle Bridge. Designed by Bruno Möhring as a decorative bridge closure, it has housed a café-restaurant since its construction. In the 1960s, a renovation added a gallery with temporary exhibitions. This section of the cycle path is part of the Kanonenbahn cultural trail, which runs along three different railway lines. On this section, the scenery is particularly idyllic, with the viaduct on the hillside, the vineyards and the Moselle.

Above the Moselle loop near Pünderich you have a wonderful view of the river and the surrounding wine-growing areas. A really great vantage point!
