The National Palace of Mafra, located in the town of Mafra, Portugal, is a monumental complex that includes a palace, a convent, a basilica, and the Tapada de Mafra (hunting grounds). In early August 2025, the trail's surrounding brush is unsuitable for smooth passage. The overgrowth of brambles is obstructing the path.
