Beautiful old town tucked away. The decorative spire twinkling in the sunlight made us detour to take a look. So glad we did! Stunning town with numerous patisseries & cafes and plenty of places to sit in the sunshine & watch the world go by. Highly recommended 👌

A pleasant section to ride, with moderate climbs and little traffic. There were a few racing cyclists on the road.

The artificially created, yet idyllically situated "Lac de la Lauch" lake is featured in the komoot system not only for joggers, but also as a highlight for various sports, including hikers, with many more photos uploaded there. Housed in the former Château de Thurnburg, the Hôtel de Ville de Wintzenheim is a historic building dating back to the 16th century and has served as the town hall since 1853. Originally owned by the Knights Hospitaller of Colmar, the building reflects the rich history of the region, with stained glass windows in the council chamber showing the coats of arms of successive owners.
