The Faing lawn is a magnificent site due to the 360-degree view over the Vosges and its intact peat bogs on the ridges. It overlooks several lakes and at altitude the heat is less in summer, so hiking there is very pleasant.

Extending over five kilometres, this nature reserve forms a magnificent plateau of high stubble. Exposed to the winds between 1,200 and 1,300 meters above sea level, these moors do not allow vegetation to develop and create a landscape of typical Vosges shrubs. On its eastern slope, a ditch forms, offering magnificent views overlooking the four lakes.

Rocky path with beautiful view over the lake. Some parts of the hiking trail is exposed. Surefootedness is a must! Beautiful on a summer day, avoid in bad weather.
