The climb up to the town is great but the place itself is a bit of an over-commercialised, purpose-built tourist trap. Enjoy the climb, grab a coffee then get out of there!

There is a trail dropping 650 meters to the river below but I chose to ride the tele-cabin down and back.

Not far from the Deux Alpes resort, the view of Lake Chambon is magnificent, with the peaks of the Arves massif in the background.

Superb view from the start of a beautiful path that goes down to Venosc! If the descent is steep, the ascent is not obligatory because a gondola makes the connection, making this trail accessible to everyone! For more advice, don’t hesitate to follow us on Instagram and Komoot @chouchou_team

Viewpoint over the valley and Venosc. There is an overview drawing with the names of the surrounding mountains. You’ll find the place via a passage at the hotel Chalet Mounier or via a narrow but manageable path from the lift to Venosc.

Viewpoint over Les Deux Alpes at an altitude of 1922 metres. Located on the Route des Perrons, this spot is relatively easy to reach and offers beautiful views of both L2A and the valley on the other side.
