The 5th belvedere is marked by a stone table that serves as a support for an orientation table allowing one to read the landscape and understand it thanks to the information it contains. The landscape, flat and distant, is relaxing.

Magnificent site, a building that appears before us at the bend of a path. It reminds me of a provincial Versailles.

The first known mentions of this church come from four documents from the 12th and 13th centuries. The nave, a Romanesque, strictly quadrangular structure, was first built in the 11th century. In the 12th century the choir was built in the form of a hemisphere. The church is connected to a fortification that stretches around the square of the "Château Vieux" (Old Castle). During the 12th and 13th centuries, the municipality had the "Tour de l'église" (church tower, bell tower) built. This allowed sentries from a height of 35 meters to monitor the arrival of looters. This also explains the machicolations and battlements on the outer wall. The most remarkable things inside the church are the wooden pulpit from 1730 and the imposing altar. Located on the Véloccinatine (Véloroute 84) between Béziers and Bédarieux, this section of road is a true paradise. It runs along the (very busy!) road to Bédarieux, crossing the sublime vineyards of the region. It's quite simple: traffic is almost non-existent, and as long as you are comfortable on some gravel, this road is the most beautiful to enter or leave Béziers.

Servian is a small town, with a nice village center on the hill with small restaurants. Unfortunately, the marketplace was a construction site during my visit, so no pictures of this location. The town can be reached from Beziers via a former railway line.
