The bench (with table) is located slightly elevated above the hiking trail, overlooking this wonderful tree. In summer, it's beautifully shady here! Next to it is a large information board from the "TrifelsErlebnisWeg" (Trifels Adventure Trail) about monastic life in the Middle Ages.

It is a great place to stop off after a hike. There is good home cooking mixed with oriental cuisine at reasonable prices. The service was very friendly and attentive. The food was fresh and tasty. A little further down, about 150m away, there is a large public car park, so there is enough parking space even with a larger group.
