The Klobichsee was formed by the melting of a block of dead ice in the post-glacial period. With its size of 74 hectares, it is the second largest lake in the Märkische Schweiz Nature Park. You can walk around the lake on beautiful, natural paths. However, you are not allowed to swim here because the shore areas are strictly protected.

The Great Klobichsee is around 75 hectares in size, making it the second largest lake in Märkische Schweiz after the 137-hectare Schermützelsee. Here you can swim, fish or even go on a hike around the lake.

The lake invites you to linger. Simply sit on a wooden bench or a tree trunk and listen to nature.

The Great Däbersee was formed from a dead ice hole during the Weichselian glaciation. It covers 18.6 hectares and averages 8 meters in depth. The greatest depth is 16 meters. Its inflow is via the Diebsgraben from Müncheberg, through the Gumnitz and Great Schlagenthinsee nature reserve, via the Kreuzfließ stream and the Kleiner Däbersee. You can find these small, chilled out lounge areas with furniture right on the bathing jetty on the property of Haus Tornow am See, whose future is completely uncertain after the fire. At the end of August 2023, the entire roof structure of the old manor house burned out, so it is currently closed until further notice. Drinks, cakes and other small items could be purchased self-service in the garden pavilion. Now we have to keep our fingers crossed that operations can be resumed in the usual way at some point...
