高さ3メートルを超える聖ネポムクの像は、1715年から古い醸造所の近くの市橋のそばに立っており、有名な聖人伝説によれば、橋を不幸から守るとされています。「ヨハネス・ネポムク、名誉の擁護者、我々と我々の街のために祈ってください」と翻訳された碑文には、おそらくヴァイシェンフェルトが2年前に再び祝った出来事を指していると思われます。1715年は、この地が「市」に昇格してからちょうど400年でした。2015年は700年でした。この仮説は、今日ではほとんど見えなくなった同盟紋章によって強調されており、それは像の台座に刻まれています。左側には、ヴァイシェンフェルトが400年以上所属していたホッホスティフト・バンベルクの紋章のライオンが、右側にはヴァイシェンフェルト市の紋章である戴冠した男性が描かれています。これが司教区の創設者であるハインリヒ皇帝であるべきか、それとも1315年に都市権を授与したルートヴィヒ王であるべきかについては、学者たちの間でまだ議論が続いています。美術専門家は、それがヴァイシェンフェルトの石工棟梁ヨハン・シュヴェスナーの像であるはずだと確信しています。

The Heckel Brewery in Waischenfeld is one of the smallest breweries in Germany, as the beer is only served in the pub. Bottles are not sold, but you can, of course, bring your own container and take the tasty beer home with you. In my opinion, they serve some of the best beers in Upper Franconia. Opening hours are: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday from 4:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The so-called Kunigundenbrunnen (Cunigunde Fountain) in Waischenfeld, next to the old brewery: Completely inaccurate from a historical perspective, the fountain was relocated during the renovation of the square and renamed at the same time. It's actually called Johannesbrunnen (John's Fountain) after the statue of John of Nepomuk, which has stood here since 1715 and protects the bridge from flooding. To make the fountain appear more attractive, a female figure was added, washing clothes right next to the fountain.
