For me, the Lausbub is one of the most beautiful beer gardens in Bayreuth and within, say, a 10-km radius. This beer garden is typically Franconian, which is something I value a lot. It starts with the food, of course, and continues with the beer specialties and the service, and of course, doesn't end with the chef, but goes beyond that. Sven, the chef, has a very good hand in designing and selecting his service staff. Everything is just perfect, and you notice it as a guest, which is why you enjoy being here.

Great beer garden and very friendly service. The food leaves nothing to be desired. For cyclists, the Lotus cheesecake provides the energy they need to continue their journey. Otherwise, the food is also very delicious. Sauerbraten is my absolute favorite!

The chapel is not on a main road! I grew up in Streit, have been drinking from the spring since I was a child and the water has not poisoned me yet. As far as I know, the water is not analyzed for cost reasons and that is why there is a warning that it is not drinkable.
