The central trail is open almost year-round (except during breeding season) via wooden walkways and dirt sections. I recommend walking in complete silence out of respect for the animals and people who frequent it. Due to the mud, I also recommend wearing appropriate footwear. Also remember to pay the €2 ticket at the ticket machines located at each entrance.

A great observation tower and if you are there at the right time, you can see many birds

The fortified complex represents one of the best-preserved examples of Lower Medieval military architecture in the province of Brescia. The castle was traditionally called Oldofredi because of the presence in Iseo of this noble Ghibelline family, who were friendly to the Visconti and the Scaligeri and fierce opponents of the Republic of Venice.

One of my favorite places, I go there at least 3/4 times a year, possibly in every season.

Entering Iseo from the north, you cannot fail to notice this majestic and evocative castle

€2 to pay to start the walk in this beautiful natural park. Payment can be made by card. The only problem is the nearby road that runs almost the entire walk.

A magnificent panoramic summit at exactly 1000 meters above sea level. To the left, you can see all the way to Brescia, and Lake Iseo lies below. The two bench-table combinations are perfect for relaxing. During our visit, numerous butterflies were fluttering around.
