I think it's a beech or a hornbeam; considering the diameter of the trunk and main branches, it should be at least a century old. Can someone who knows about it help me estimate? It's a place I visit often; I photograph it every time I pass by; I've grown fond of it!

Here in Cuna you actually have an incredibly beautiful view over the northern part of Lake Iseo with Monte Isola.

The sacred building has been documented on the ridge above Sulzano since the 14th century. Unfortunately, the chapel is closed by default – at least, we were denied access to the interior. Rest areas are located on both sides of the building, where you can enjoy the historic flair and the views. The refuge of the same name is directly connected to the chapel.
