Crossroads for alternative path to reach Mount Baron. The path is much steeper than the normal route, allowing you to save a bit if you want to climb Monte Rosselli. The trail is not marked with White/Red symbols but is well traced and has a very wide and deep track. Once you reach the ridge on the left you go to Monte Baron and on the right you can continue to Monte Rosselli

Built as a place to stay in the greenery, in the hamlet of Borgonuovo a Givoletto, at the time completely covered in woods in the last decade of the 1800s at the behest of Mrs. Barberis, a Genoese noblewoman and esteemed benefactor, for years it was also used as a library of the municipality of Givoletto. Renovated and divided into apartments, it has now recovered its intended residential use.
