A diverse nature reserve with wet meadows, small ponds, dry sandy areas, and sparse forests extends around the Pantener Moorweiher. The landscape was created through earlier soil extraction and renaturation. Today, tree frogs, sand lizards, and various rare bird species live here, among others. A hiking trail leads through the southern area. There are information boards at several locations, and a platform invites observation. A local association is responsible for maintenance.

Most of the paths along the canal have been resurfaced and can be used on foot or by bike.

Whatever blooms there, it gives hope.

You can still see from the elevations that something used to be here. It reminds me a bit of Ahrensfelde Castle, even if it's a bit clearer. Maybe it's similar to Steben Castle, of which you can only see a little.

In fact, you can still see some of the elevations quite well. There used to be a ring wall here.
