Beautiful church directly above the Elbe-Lübeck Canal... you can't miss it if you cross the canal on the bridge right in front of it.

A lovely path along the canal... You can often spot waterfowl... the only downside: the path offers little shade.

A lovely rest area with several seating areas not far from the lock... Thanks to the large fish sculpture, you can't miss it.

Unfortunately, I found the large church closed (on weekdays). However, there's a lovely bench in front of the church, and the old gravestones and crosses around the church are worth exploring.

This ruin of the former Wisniewski concrete factory is located in the heart of Berkenthin. The site has been severely devastated. The municipality plans to build apartments there in the future.
