The Felsengartenkellerei Besigheim is located in the idyllic Neckar Valley, between Stuttgart and Heilbronn. It is an important winegrowers' cooperative in Württemberg. It owes its name to the shell limestone rocks that characterize the landscape here. They rise steeply, embedded in a wonderful vineyard landscape with terraced steep slopes and dry stone walls. The sun's rays fall on the vines at the ideal angle, and the rocks and dry stone walls reinforce them and store their heat. Ideal conditions for wines of the highest quality. The wall lizard, our heraldic animal, enjoys the evening sun on the stones. 400 winegrower families from 10 wine communities with 720 hectares of cultivation area are united under the sign of the golden lizard.

Beautiful, quiet, relatively flat climb with little elevation gain. From Sternenfels it is steeper and shorter, but with a long descent towards Häfnerhaslach. Very good road surface.
