A really great resting place in the cool and shady valley floor. Next to it is the mill fountain and the Hunsbächel stream flows past.

The tower, inaugurated in 2005, is already the third at this point. At not quite 11 meters, it is not particularly high, but it is enough to overlook the Heltersberg area.

Parallel to the (today's) Hundsstraße, a part of the old elevated road runs from this sign up into a ravine in which there are several tree trunks (hardly accessible anymore).

The burial mounds are located on the cycle path that runs parallel to the L 499 country road (Heltersberg - Johanniskreuz). “Like the Heidelsburg, the burial mounds could also be of Celtic origin. However, this has not yet been definitively proven. The Celts initially buried their dead in burial mounds and flat graves. Unfortunately, it's no longer high enough for a view of the surrounding trees.

Beautiful rest area, the stables here are soothing with only the birds singing their song.

Great view. Very nice tower with enough seating below to relax.
