A bench like no other. It's almost always in the shade.

The Haspelturm, also known as the "Thieves' Tower," is arguably the oldest tower in Vaihingen. The Romanesque round-arch frieze suggests that it was built in the 13th century. With its six floors, it dominates the skyline of the old town. The first floor still contains the "Haspel," which was used to lower prisoners into the dungeon approximately 8 meters below.

Great place, worth seeing

The historic wine press in Lienzingen dates back to 1789. It was moved from its original location southwest of the town to its current location in 1897. The press, with its distinctive hipped roof, bears witness to Lienzingen's once prolific winemaking tradition. In case of rain, the porch offers a great place to shelter. A lounger and a bench invite you to rest.

Really, only use it as an exit. I drove up it and was overtaken several times, despite the curve and oncoming traffic. The drivers are really painless. The oncoming traffic never honked; they're apparently used to it.
