The well-kept cemetery is located around the Elisabeth Church under a ring of linden trees in the middle of the town, in the middle of life. The parish includes the towns of Havekost, Dassendorf and Brunstorf. The church is usually open for prayer and silence on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. A bench in the cemetery by the idyllic village pond also invites you to take your time and find peace. 05.08.2024: The carved relief is overgrown with ivy. The plaque "Gefion" is intact. Google says Gefion is the saint of bachelors... how, why and wherefore remains a mystery to me
