ヴィルヘルム・ボルウィン3世（13世紀の公爵）の木像は、2010年に嵐で倒れたロストッカーハイデの最も太いオークから作られました。

美しい休憩場所 - ここには数十年前まで、13世紀にロストック市民にロストック・ハイデの森林地帯を売却した（今でも街の歴史における最高の取引の一つと見なされている）ヴィルヘルム・ボルウィン3世公を称えて名付けられた500年以上の樹齢の木がありました。倒れた巨木の残骸は今でも見ることができます。現在のボルウィンオークは1992年に植えられました。

Prince Bodwin sold the Rostock Heath to the city of Rostock in the 13th century. The statue was crafted from the largest oak tree in the Rostock Heath, which, at 35 meters tall and with a trunk diameter of approximately two meters, fell victim to Hurricane Jeanett in 2002.

The forest is wonderfully beautiful

Watch out for pedestrians. This is a relatively narrow bike path with poor visibility at some bends. Enjoy this spot and sit on one of the benches.
