From here you can go on great trips. Heligoland or seal banks, everything to be recommended. There is a sufficiently large parking lot in the neighborhood.

From the rest area on the Schleusenpriel it is not far to the "Alte Liebe" an pier at the old harbor. There is a lot of hype here, the excursion boats to Helgoland, for harbor tours and to the seal banks start here. The former lightship "ELBE 1" is also located here.
