Here you can either give yourself the full program and go on a guided tour by train through the salt pans, or you can simply take a look at the differently colored salt lakes from a distance while cycling around the area with your bike. Alternatively, you can take a spin on your own two wheels within the area for an entrance fee of 22 euros. Particularly fascinating are the pink lakes, whose strange color is due to a rare type of algae that thrives in particularly salty water.
