The community center (Schmidzeile 8), named after the last private owners, was restored between 1970 and 1977 by the Arbeitskreis (AK) 68 Künstlergemeinschaft Wasserburg am Inn e.V. and has since served as a gallery with several artist studios. The facade, with its two bay windows and the newly uncovered painting from 1555, offers a vivid picture of a Wasserburg town house in the 16th century.
