Kaltenhof is a small dreamy village in the north of the island of Poel. The Kaltenhof manor is also located here. In the middle of the 19th century, Friedrich Bosselmann was the tenant of the estate. From 1908 it was Hans Steinhagen.

The manor house was renovated in 2011/2012 and is now a guest house.
