Hiking Highlight
Prestongrange is an open-air museum that displays relics from Scotland’s industrial heritage. You can see big machines like the pit head winding gear, a Cornish beam engine, a powerhouse, a brick kiln, as well as coal wagons and a steam crane. It is free to enter but guided tours can be purchased.
