The living museum shows visitors the art of hammer forging and dealing with the glowing iron. For over five generations, the Eisenhammer was owned by the Schäff family, a widely ramified forge dynasty.

The museum is open in March: Saturday, Sunday and public holidays from 1 to 5 pm. In the months of April to October: Wednesday to Sunday and on public holidays from 1 to 5 pm. The entrance fee is 3 euros. Free blacksmith performances take place every Wednesday between 1pm and 5pm in the summer months of July and August and every 14th Saturday of the month at 2pm.

Eisenhammer on the Roth (official name Eisenhammer on the Roth, also known as Eisenhammer Eckersmühlen) is a former hammer mill and a district of the city of Roth in the Middle Franconian district of Roth in Bavaria. Today the estate is a museum homestead that keeps the art of hammering alive and reminds of the time of the old blacksmith families.

Worth seeing, a lot has been invested ... new rustic benches and tables that invite you to linger and a picnic, the Deutz locomotive has been lovingly restored ... Charging station for ebike has been installed.
