On a ramp next to the museum are some cannons. Until 1797 they were on the "Ramsjö jetty", but then they were sold to the war defense in the harbor at Torekov. Here was the "Big Battery," a battery-powered battery built in 1801 that defended itself against the English fleet. The "battery" was one of the skans that were set up at the same time on the "Gibraltar cliff" north of the hot bath house.greater-copenhagen.net/torekovs-skans
