Engelmühle Süderhafen

Almost a landmark of the island of Nordstrand is the "Engel-Mühle" at the Süderhafen, which can be seen from afar.

She greets the sailors coming from the sea from afar with her high wings. As a registered navigation mark, it is only a few steps away from the marina.

Today's "Engelmühle" was built as a so-called Dutch mill in 1888-1889. The wedding room is now where the millstones used to turn.

The "Glück zu" café is located in the basement of the mill. Here you can enjoy home-style cooking or delicious cakes.
